Nikki Bak's watercolors and acrylics reflect the warmth of the Mediterranean. While traveling the Italian countryside and waterfront, she has captured images of the people and places. Terracotta, lavender, earthy browns and sky blues are reflected in paintings of marketplaces, coastal scenes, and the countryside. Her work also includes portraits of people placed in casual settings, often in conversation or at leisure.

The 2008-2009 Northwest St Johns County Telephone Directory is out, and for the second year, featuring the art of Nikki Bak on the cover.

Below is the cover art. Prints are available for purchase - contact the artist.

Art After Dark 2005

This mural was on the wall of Jacksonville flower and gift shop that specializes in French provincial items.  The mural is approximately 10 by 12 feet, created on canvas, and is a scene of the French countryside.  In the foreground is a market scene of a man and woman selling vegetables and fruit.  In the background, there are fields of lavender and a city perched on the hilltop.
